That was one of the most infuriating drives I've seen. Legitimately every play they were not ready and didn't know where to line up. We were lucky to even have a 4th and 7 as their QB missed Lemon when literally no one lined up with him pre snap.
Feagan was definitely down. Looked to me like he knew he was down and relaxed his grip.

Mackovic never for a second intended, or even intimated, that he viewed Illinois as anything but a stepping-stone to what he felt was a job (NFL or top-level college) he deserved. It was kind of a 50/50 feeling where you admire the rare honesty, while being offended by the slight.

As I’ve said on Loyalty before, Mackovic was a real @$$hole who would turn his charm on or off depending on whom he was with and what he wanted from them…He was a smart coach, but not a very nice person. I wasn’t sorry to see him go at all back then…
What is Patterson doing on that 3rd and 16? Not exactly sure about the "really, really good throw"... it worked out for them, but 50% of the time that gets picked off.

He has a clear play on the ball, but seems like he's afraid of getting cut from underneath or hurting his body. He's looked hurt the whole year, and just hasn't played well.
