The floor of this program has raised so much because of Bret- it's disappointing to think of what could've been this season. But to be 6-3, guaranteed a bowl game and in a great position to finish 8-4 or 9-3- 5 years ago I would've killed for Illinois football to be this good.

That was a much needed completely played great game by the Illini....I don't give a flying fart who it was against....I really really don't...................35-13 Illini victory with a great offensively called game by Lunney and performed by Luke & the Lunatics......
and how aboot that game by the formerly feckless defensive fellows ?........why oh why didn't we play earlier with blitz's and constant pressure on the qb ????.......guess it's better late than never....

Just what we needed. Can't be too picky but would have loved a 42-6 final. Credit to the second teamers not giving up a TD on the last drive. Luke is an all-time Illini great.

This was a really enjoyable game, offense is fun to watch
It's good to win and also avoid silly mental and emotional foolish plays and penalties. Today was the first game I didn't make since I had a young grandsons bday so I gave my 4 tickets to StJude but what I did see on my phone was a positive change. We didn't give away extra possession and yards with dumb dead ball fouls or shooting ourselves in the foot.
