I'm still so confused as to the coverage on the 4th and 16 conversion.
I just don't get it from MSU's perspective.
LOL, yeah, stop trying to figure it out. I wasted an hour of my life doing the same, there’s no logic to it.
I mean, he’s our only vertical threat. He’s been beating your press man all game long. In what world is single man high with a safety in the middle third a winning strategy against Josh on 4th and 16? It’s idiotic. Mike Tressel needs to answer for that because he cost his kids a chance to celebrate victory.
Even the TV commentators saw it and were saying where the ball was going.
There was a point when MSU was up 31-10 that the ESPN gamecast gave MSU a 99.6% chance to win.
When Matt Millen thinks you messed up, you have probably made a serious mistake.
That was my biggest fear that the school up north would screw us out a bowl. NOT NOW pussycats. I Confess I NEVER thought we had a chance at the end of the third quarter. WE ARE BOWLING MAN!!!!
Most points EVER scored by a MSU opponent in the 4th quarter in East Lansing!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!
Offensively I don't think Palcho had a very good game. Our best run blocking tandem is Green and Kramer in my opinion so I am not surprised nor will I blame them for trying to run to them. And I feel like we have been throwing to the outside all year, Peters has plenty of arm strength to do it. I am not defending the play calling but I am not going to say the whole game was awful either. The goal line calls at the end of the game were not ideal. No defending that. I would not put a shotgun QB under center. I believe Jay Leman made a very good point, why not wild cat with Dre Brown. I have only seen it one time and that was after Peters long run in the Rutgers game. I would like to see that utilized a little more on short yardage. This is Rod's second year in being a full time OC. First year with a running QB and now shifting to a pocket passer, I am not shocked he has had some issues here and there. I believe he will learn and get better
Lot of people complaining about that PI at the end of the game. It may have been a little iffy but as I said during the game, you have to understand situational football. If you make non-ball contact on a play in the end zone, more often than not a flag will come out and you as a defender much be cognizant of that. I understand it may be iffy but have no sympathy for anyone blaming the refs for that ending. You have to understand situational football.
I don't think it's iffy at all. The DB grabbed Reams' shoulder pad before the ball got there. It would've been a travesty if they had not called it. For once we get a call....wow, fantastic!
He was far from perfect but he had like 9 tackles, 0.5 for a loss and a fumble recovery, so not that bad.Shoot. Was hoping Shammond would get some run, I think he’s got a game or two before he burns the redshirt.
Tolson did not play well today. His understanding of our checks was clearly an issue, he did a lot of guessing.

#66 rubbed his sack on Milo that is why he punched him in his bung hole. MSU has players in the transfer portal, I would think long and hard about taking. MSU fb and bb culture is bad, wins above everything else.
So glad we have MEN running our programs. I was supporting Lovie during the 2-6 record for the main reason that he holds his players accountable and what he expects from the players.
I haven’t had a chance to sit and watch the whole game yet. Been watching in bits and pieces. Getting toward the end of the 3rd quarter and all I can say is it is not looking good for us. Not sure we have done anything productive the whole 3rd quarter. Defense has held I suppose.
Amazing. Can’t wait to get to the 4th!
