Great Senior day conference victory by the beloved...............................Nice way to come back from the disappointing loss to the goofers and after a bye week...........

Pat Bryant with an awesome day with 131 yards receiving and a TD....................
Josh McCray with a 3 TD day rushing and shows his inner strength after all his injuries.........
Luke has some great passes and didn't get sacked today......Funny how when he has time to pass how accurate he is.......
the D played their hearts out today , stopping the run and getting numerous sacks when they went to a 4 man DL and blitzed sometimes.....................

Just an all around superior performance today by the Illini...................7-3 sounds mighty fine to me.....it really really does.........

The only thing that could make this season better would be a surprise appearance by a certain Native American in full regalia, beloved by generations of Illini fans, who shall remain nameless but stays with us in spirit.

Did Robertson get hurt?
Werner: "Fabrizio Pinton replaced senior Hugh Robertson as the starting punter for non-injury reasons — and the junior executed well. Pinton, who entered the transfer portal last offseason only to return to Illinois, had four punts for 189 yards and pinned Michigan State inside the 15 twice. Robertson did punt once for 36 yards, pinning MSU at their own 15."

I found the game to be monotone, really no enthusiasm until halfway thru the 4th quarter against a not so good MSU team. It just seems to me the Illini have lost that fire ever since the blowout to Oregon. I am happy they won but I still see the same ole things. The defense having trouble getting off the field on 3rd and long and even a 4th and long. They did come alive in the 4th quarter. Still trying to run up the middle on 3rd down. I guess it is too late in the season to change anything or maybe the coaches don't know any other plays.
I am hoping to can at least win 1 out of 2 but hoping for 2.
