I was taught it’s better to struggle along with an unfilled vacancy than to compromise when hiring. A’s hire A’s and B’s hire C’s. Compromising is like introducing a cancer into your organization. Hiring someone like Bret (or Josh) has the opposite effect, replacing weakness with vitality. We are truly blessed, so enjoy the ride!

I remember seeing it! I lived in Lambda Chi house a block up but spent many nights (and quarters) in the cafeteria.

the dudes next to us , both swimmers who lost their schollies that year due to Title IX, thought it was so cool , they paid her $50 to paint the REO speedwagon logo on their window !
