I take a little bit of what I said back. This was the best way to barely win a game we were heavily favored in.
An unnerving win. But also a lowkey classic, no? And you know what… I’m not gonna gripe too much about a 5-1 Illini start to the season.
A lot of valuable lessons and experience harvested from this game. You also gotta love the way the deep passing game is evolving.
