It was primarily our fault. For whatever reason we refused to go inside for much of the 2nd Half almost like it was our game plan not to. It honestly made very little sense to me. That said, if you compare the fouls called on Illinois vs the fouls called and maybe even more relevantly not called against Chattanooga, it appeared the refs were trying to even up the fouls from the first half. So it's both in my opinion but it was primarily our fault. Thing is if Chattanooga fouls pretty much every time down the court, at some points refs will have to make a decision either to call them and completely "tilt" the game in one direction or try to keep it "balanced" and only call egregious ones. The latter is what happened.

I'm not sure if this is accurate or not, but I read that Curbelo had a +/- of +18 tonight. I know CH is going to get the credit with the play at the end, but Curbelo kept us in it through the rest of the game.

The biggest concern to me is that they took 17 more shots than us. 8 due to more OR, 4 due to more turnovers by us, 1 due to winning the tip and 4 due to hacking us while shooting.
