We basically played without a starter and a half. Its gonna get lost in the shuffle of that heart attack of a game.

The two guards (their two best players with DeSouza) that he and Trent covered were 7-32. He had 6 boards.

There are some things that need to get fixed moving forward (not sure what can be in one day), but we did outscore them by 12 the last 33ish minutes of the game. The beginning of the game and the beginning of the second half were awful stretches for us.
If you take away the first 7 minutes of the first half and the first 2 minutes of the second half (which I get, you can't do), we outscored them 50-31. And honestly, we couldn't buy baskets during the first 7 minutes of the game. That wasn't even Chattanooga outplaying us.
Take that for what it is. That's 77.5% of the game we were completely dominant. Let's work on that 22.5% before Sunday... please?

I was as pessimistic and rightfully negative as anyone else during the game, but you know what?? It’s March, baby, SURVIVE AND ADVANCE!!!!
Not saying it will happen but getting punched like we did could * key word, could*be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully the carelessness/lack of assertiveness coming out of the UTC game will be a lesson.

Hoping we just witnessed an ‘84 NC State / 2000 Florida style “first round survival before Final Four run” game
Throwing the ball at mid court after a turnover...the announcer actually said as such...the double slap down low was weird, either the ref didn't blow the whistle and he kept playing or he was very frustrated late in the play. I'm good with his effort and play...just thought he got us close a few times cough...dmw to a situation that this game had no room for.
