We did a great job on Christie tonight. He was only 1 for 8 from the floor and 2 points. Glad we signed Goode instead of him.

Of course, I am sure there will be one when I will want to retract that comment.

Yea..I think Christie has a way higher ceiling for obvious reasons but he's probably not a four-year player while Goode is.

That was not a tough shot for a guy that stands 6'8 inches. Other than Hawk, who did we have in the game that could have contested it?
He kept it from going in, so it was a very good play in my book.
I can't remember ever seeing a foul called with less than a second remaining, but if it went in we probably lose even without the foul. Otherwise a pretty rough game for Coleman, hope he can get it together against NW

Just got home from the game. Was dead tired before the game, now I'm amped!

I think that first FT that was missed at the end was the loudest I've ever heard the Assembly Hall (for a short period of time - crowd was very good tonight but not the loudest overall game). I've probably been to 150+ games. Literally everybody up and screaming, was awesome and I wish more people who cheer like that more often.

Outstanding effort by the team tonight. Incredibly gutty effort by Trent in particular, but everyone absolutely followed his lead and fought every possession despite being undermanned.

Late game execution leaves something to be desired and I would have liked to have seen something where Goode and Plummer are both running off multiple screens in opposite direction to try to free up a clean look rather than continuing to try the high pick and roll without much success with MSU trapping it so hard. We need an alternative to the high ball screen and the weave when we need a good look.

Also overcame some bad calls/no calls by the refs, but also have to be smarter as we made some really dumb fouls as well.

Hell of a game and hope to see this intensity from the team the rest of the season.

What I've noticed re: CoHawk on offense for a good while now is that when he does get the ball it seems like he's only looking to pass it as quickly as possible. It looks like hot potato, no threat to drive and very little to shoot.

We just beat the #10 team in the country. Without Kofi and Curbelo. And without scoring in the final 5. I like our chances in March with a healthy squad ... the only team I fear is ADVERTISEMENT.
Don't worry. ADVERTISEMENT always seems to end up in the East or West bracket. And anyway, though they really shine in December, the sweeps period during February depletes them and they generally are gassed by March. I'm confident they're not an impediment to our banner.

Agree. It looks like something spooked him on offense and he’s timid now. It’s sad. He came out so strong this year :-/

Anyone else puzzled by RJ's relegation to the end of the bench? He's shown flashes in the very little time he's seen, but I guess he's also shown a bit of a tendency for careless turnovers and not being strong with the ball as well. At least I remember BU being pretty upset with him a few times. Hope he sticks with it as I think he can be a difference maker at some point.
