That was painful. Just a pathetic effort from anyone not named Trent or Coleman, including coaches. We made no in game adjustments whatsoever. We press for one possession with 5 minutes to go? Then press up 6 with less than a minute to go and give up an uncontested three to cut it to one possession? Coleman played, what, 3 minutes in the second half and that was because Grandison got hurt. I don't get it at all.

I guess a win's a win, but man not an inspiring beginning to March. Sorry to be negative I know I will catch grief for it but that is how I see it.

Honestly, that's a good win. Open shots weren't falling, opponent was making ridiculous shots the entire first half and yet you played the defense and sank the free throws you needed to to win. That's all one can ask for. Some games are going to be tough and Penn State has played opponents tough all year. Trent played his heart out- if the team can follow his lead we can win close tourney games.

I’m usually on the optimistic side, but I’m not a head-in-the-sand type. This is the most concerned I’ve been with a single performance all year, given the time of year and what’s at stake. We HAVE to figure out our defense and effort from now on.

With that said, we won. And maybe those FS1 guys are right and this will be good for us long term. We need to come out with fire from now on, but we also all know we have every tool to get to the Final Four, too.

Happy to survive at the end of the day, right?! Let’s go beat the Hawks and pray for NEBRASKETBALL!

4. I feel like we should have busted out the press earlier. Try to force them to speed up

5. I can't believe Penn State didn't foul with 30 seconds, or whatever it was, left. We have been terrible at free throws all year and you need to extend the game. Big mistake on their part.
