Had to beat the rams, the refs, and major minutes for Tate and we did all 3. Good win(s)

Tate's did a fine job with his minutes. So tired of people actively rooting against the success of our own player.

liked the defensive intensity today although VCU offense is/was weak

Love the way they fought today. A couple VCU runs in the 2nd half, and some god awful calls, but just a great team win. NO LET UPS AGAINST IUPUI PLEASE. Go Illini!!

VCU played like crap, which is a major reason for the result. Still, very solid win.

Agreed, Lucas did not do a very good job of taking care of the ball today, in my opinion.

Big win. Good step towards making up for the three game losing streak. Still have a ways to go though.

Didn't get to watch, only got to follow the last 5 or 6 minutes. VERY happy to get this win. I hope this is the start of a good run.

Can the BIG network replay games that were aired on another network? Looked liked Leron had a great game; would love to see it!

Go Illini!

Ten things I think

D was the difference

Leron may be our 2nd best player

JCL learned that driving can be fun

Finke and Mav need to get out of their funk

VCU is not a tourney team, looks like our O from last year

Groce has to get team ready to play at start of halves

DJW is a missing man

Big Mo may be on our side

Love Doug's passion on radio

ILL fans are everywhere

good synopsis!

I would not have bet on us holing anyone under 50 this year.

Gave up 6 pts in last 7:20 of game.

Let's be real, their best perimeter player spraining his ankle was helpful in bottling up their offense.

Very encouraged regardless.
