PotDYou need to have more babies.
Coleman’s block was phenomenal, but I was yelling about Ty’s tip to keep the ball inbounds when everyone else stopped.Watching the last defensive possession back again, that was a huge save/tapout by Rodgers. If that tap goes to a Northwestern player, we could be looking at an entirely different outcome.
Too funnyI said this in the game thread...my wife, who is literally bipolar, called this team bipolar...
Cohawk with a mohawk is a menace.I really enjoyed how they tried to spread and iso on Coleman with Buie like it was a mismatch. It's a mismatch alright but not for them!
It’s that effort and smarts that gets you to an elite levelColeman’s block was phenomenal, but I was yelling about Ty’s tip to keep the ball inbounds when everyone else stopped.
So sorry for your loss. My sense of you is he will be in your heart forever. You have a lot of support here.Wow......been a long day for me as today was my dad's funeral
I was worn out before the game started, and then we fall behind by 18 at the half
Did I think about turning the game off ???
NEVER.....
I am smiling for the first time today....THANK YOU FIGHTING ILLINI for bringing a little joy back in pru's heart
And shame on everyone for dissing the Illini....
Carry on my Illini bros and sisters
Like Scottie pippen? Uggg that's no goodOh he was. He checked himself out of the game and refused to go back in.
Agree and disagree. As much as I "hated" Chris Collins at Duke, I really don't/can't hate him as a coach (even at Northwestern). His pressers are always honest and straightforward. He is a really good coach. However, I will never find it hard to root against the Kitties.I don't know what the general consensus is on Chris Collins, but after watching his postgame press conference, he seems like a likeable guy. No excuses or attitude, gave Illinois a lot of credit, and had solid answers to all the questions. I find it hard to root against Northwestern (especially considering that I did some graduate work there).
Carry on to you as well. When I lost my father it was and still is the toughest day of my life. The memories will keep you afloat.Wow......been a long day for me as today was my dad's funeral

Oh he was. He checked himself out of the game and refused to go back in.
This... is not ideal.Oh he was. He checked himself out of the game and refused to go back in.
I assume you have named him Terrance? Congratulations.Had to watch the game from my phone in the hospital (my son was born yesterday). It took a Herculean effort to not yell out in excitement during the floor's quiet hours. I will remember my silent fist pumps forever.
Truly amazing heart from the team in the second half. If the team can harness that energy and emotion the rest of the season, look out!
Even though Buie had a career night, the second half adjustments on him were great (Harris deserves a game ball for his defensive efforts). For those who did not turn the game off at the half, we got to witness something special (and maybe the final click to getting on a serious role going into March)
On to Columbus!
Collins channeling his inner Bobby Knight in the ball screen world...and it's working.I think their high screens are always late and not completely set. I watched it over and over and kept wondering how they get away with it?
I’m sure he wasn’t happy with getting torched by Buie and not making wide open 3’s. He’s a freshman and will continue to grow. He’s a gamer and will be fine.Oh he was. He checked himself out of the game and refused to go back in.
Refused? So what's the skinny? Hopefully it was a TSJ let's ride with what's out there coach refusal. But I am sensing not so much.Oh he was. He checked himself out of the game and refused to go back in.
She has meds which have kept her stable for year. No idea what to give this team. I'm in my late 40s and feel like this team could lose in the first round by 25 or get on a heater and win four or five in a row come mid-March. Toughest team I've followed, and I rooted like crazy in 1989 and 2005 and the last two yearsToo funny
not her condition, but the post. Classic
and yes, we are.
Whoa!Oh he was. He checked himself out of the game and refused to go back in.
Was he acting like that because he was mad at himself or because he is mad at coaches/teammates? I feel like coach has shown a lot of faith in him, and if he was trying to sub him back in and Epps said no, it isn't like coach sat him.Oh he was. He checked himself out of the game and refused to go back in.
Every game in the B10 the screener has gotten away with it for the most part. They've just decided not to call it this year for whatever reason. Gut feeling is they'll circle back around to this as a point of emphasis within the next two years and strictly call it while ignoring other things like happens year after year.I think their high screens are always late and not completely set. I watched it over and over and kept wondering how they get away with it?
