Bardo working on KJ’s name

A well-coached zone defense is a different animal and we pretty clearly don’t have much experience with it. The game was ugly, and I might not have loved watching it, but I’m glad we got that experience under our belt. It’ll come in handy later in the season.
This is good experience for this team. I thought we got some good looks just didn't go down.

Not pretty, but we will take the win. Nice seeing Ivisic finding his groove. Lots of options for scoring on this team. Can't wait to see what they look like in January!!

Burn the tape and memory hole this one. Very lackadaisical team right now lacking an on court leader. Have some amazing talent but the team was outworked tonight and intensity was non existent. Hopefully a learning experience.

Wrong. Underwood just said they got more value out of this game than other games where they won by 30. This team has a unique zone defense that slowed the game down

Postgame hot takes:
- If KJ can’t bring the turnovers down, we might get blessed with a second year. Or he’ll fix it. Win-win.
- I’ve only watched two games, but Tre White would seem to be on the bubble for the BIG rotation to me
- If DGL is an Illini on senior night, the applause will threaten the structural integrity of SFC
- I appreciate Bardo as a former player, but ladies and gentlemen…
