Classy tweet from Cory Bradford congratulating JCL on breaking his record. Whitman needs to get Bradford back in the program and trust me, he will.
Groce haters seem to be pretty quiet lately.
Good win guys!

Our bench is weak. Not even serviceable.
Awesome watching Whitman mixing it up with the players. Infectious energy.
Just finished the game I had to DVR it and I just wanna say a few things. First, I love beating Iowa and Fran Mccaffery's face bothers the hell out of me. Also, this week has made me run out of orange kool-aid and I need to get some before tomorrow's game
That's because our top three bench guys are playing starters minutes due to injuries.
Watched this game at work in Bettendorf Iowa. Was huddled with about 7-8 Iowa fans watching the last 30 seconds. After the buzzer sounded I walked away with my hands in the air and let out a big "WOOOOO!!!"
Why bust tail to be the first down the floor if you don't think you will get the ball?
I wonder if JCL asked Whitman about that CoB transfer? What a silly rumor that was.
Were you escorted from the building?
I don't dislike AA. I dislike the playing time he gets, but that's on the coach. That being said, I thought he was ok today and was fine with the minutes he got, in hindsight that is. Still doesn't mean he didn't mess up that play. It's fine, the other players mess up too, and when they do, we sometimes call it out. AA turned his back to the play and had no idea the ball was coming to him, he should have been paying closer attention. It's also partly on Mav for throwing a pass to a guy not looking. At any rate, I wasn't trying to start a discussion on who's fault it was, I was only making a joke with my initial post
For a guy who gets relatively little playing time....this board goes out of its way to scrutinize so much about him and coach decision to use him for a couple of minutes each game, and the board rarely gives kudos to him (someone did recognize him for his significant play and taking the Jok charge...thanks for that) I really like AA because he plays very hard and is an Illini.I don't dislike AA. Gotta love MH's determination, you could tell by the way he moved he was going to score. Seems like there were a a few more assists than average today. Nunn back on track.
The team played much better defense and had offense from other players than just Nunn or Hill. Shows you they could have done this a few more times earlier this year. Don't know if you should blame players or coach? I'm sure both are somewhat responsible but I guess Groce can't make them play harder or shoot the ball for them. Either way a great win and a breath of fresh air in a dismal season. Beat Purdue, I want to return to a tradition of watching Illinois play during the St Patties day celebration!
