And I said it would be about a 30% chance and he totally did it. Good call!View attachment 23434
Huh, would ya look at that.

It's really nice to be on other side of a game-losing drought for once.Rutgers missed 15 straight shots and 20 of 22 at one point.
I appreciated the overall lack of whistles. Some bad misses, but not really one sided. Thought Rutgers got “jobbed” twice at the end but it was already 11 point spread under 0:60We complain when it's bad, but I thought the refs did a pretty good job
Love what Rodgers brings to the floor. Would also like to have Omoruyi on our team.Rodgers with .47 boards per minute, better than Omoruyi
I believe that incredibly quick increase in Illini win probability coincided with BU pumping up the crowd.
Well, Rutgers got the benefit of a couple of non-calls in the 1st half. And a possession when they clearly knocked it out. This stuff usually balances out.I appreciated the overall lack of whistles. Some bad misses, but not really one sided. Thought Rutgers got “jobbed” twice at the end but it was already 11 point spread under 0:60
Jeez, you're a downer. Rutgers is a good team.Very frustrating first half. I really believe we are the only team that can consistently beat us; if we play with effort and focus we can beat anyone. But too often, we play soft, lazy, low IQ basketball and do not value every possession. It's maddening.
With that said, they did what they had to do in the second half, and the season hinges on whether or not they can give that consistent effort each and every game.
what can be said about ty rodgers... this kid is electricWe held them scoreless for 10:01. They scored their 47th point with 15:03 to go in the 2nd half. They didn't score again until 5:02 left. Incredible.
Luke Goode is playing better than RJ?There are 8 guys playing better than him.
On a team that struggles shooting from the arc, Ty Rodgers has been a breath of fresh air as he finds ways to make critical contributions to his team. Sure like the fact that this Illini team plays with him and not against him.
Another Jekyll and Hyde game for the Illini, but the second half play and big run should be mandatory viewing every day. When they value possession and good shots, play tough defense, keep DD, Ty, and SH off the FT line, try not to commit dumb fouls, and get the ball inside before shooting a three, this team is difficult to beat....for anyone.
The light did go on for CoHawk on offense...and was likely the biggest plus factor in the Illini win given RUs focus on shutting down Mayer. The truth is, Hawk needs to take what he is given and stay offensively aggressive...until he becomes the guy teams want to shut down....which is when he needs to look for the open guy who will never be open if he won't shoot unguarded shots. Great job today by CH.
Every game the rest of the season takes a seat in elevated status of importance to win. All I want to see is consistent effort and value on both ends and a focus on moving towards potential every game. Now let's see if anything was learned in the first PSU game. Will Illini close early on three point shooters? Will they find a way to keep Pickett from scoring at will? For sure, someone other than Skyy will guard him. Next game will tell a big tale about this coaching staffI
why are you concerned with this????Why no RJ at least in some parts of the game?
Crowd got going in the second half but I hear you. It's almost like the crowd needs the team to get them going instead of the crowd getting the team going. Krush in particular needs to be making noise at all times that we don't have the ball. Also crowd was kind of flat again until Underwood got everyone pumped up in the 2nd half. Almost an OSU like moment.
