I am surprised by this win but so so happy. This might keep us as a 2 seed in the tournament and a double bye for the BTT. Good gritty win and held on with good FT at the end there

Same reason Gard was messing around with Trice getting pulled, then not, then pulled after he fouled out.

Oh stop it. Damonte literally led us in scoring at half, and nobody in the arena was guarding Trice at the end. You know that.

I expect Trent to hit big free throws, he's done it his whole career. I think Belo stepped up even more at the FT line given he's been a tad bit shaky.

Really? He loses his first team All American guard and runs a team out there with absolutely no experience closing out games, as it's been Ayo's role. The role that he's become nationally known for and they figured out a way to win, despite one of the best heaters, by Trice, that I've ever seen. He was rolling with three freshman getting serious minutes. I'm not sure what you thought things were going to look like today?

It’s impressive to go in there and win without Ayo no matter what. It’s a great win. Full stop.
BUT, those inbound plays were horrendous and nearly fatal. Why we paused after every basket to let the defense set up is confounding. And the refs letting our guys get held and tackled just made it more maddening.
Hope Ayo’s back for Michigan. We will need everything going our way for that one.
