I start to worry he will be a one and done. It is safe to say he is better than Will Riley. He is 2" shorter but he can do everything Riley can do just better. I am not talking down Riley and he has a bright future in the league.
Yeah, Wagler slightly better eFG (.500 vs .497), more rebounds per game (5.3 vs 4.1), and basically same number of assists per game. A lot of season to play, but if he continues to play like tonight, he gawn.

Me too. Begged Jimi and Pete Townshend to stop - to no avail. My Telecaster is still in one piece. I used Ronson lighter fluid judiciously for my Zippo only.

Yay Illini! Great win. Great unis. Still love navy blue; Illini, it appears, warm up in it.

Your boys bounced back nicely tonight. Evenly spread out scoring and shot the ball pretty well. Got killed on the boards but managed to balance that out with only 6 turnovers. Still think these kids will need to toughen up a bit and ideally hit a higher percentage of free throws. 2nd half looked very good. Good quality win and I really think as the season goes on, they're going to get better.

If my memory serves me right, Riley played like a stud versus cupcakes but not so well against high level competition in the early season. Wagler played like a stud almost every game except the first game so far.

Their 12 TOs, some unforced, offset their board advantage and was a Godsend for us. Glad we took care of the ball against a physical, handsy defense.
After watching Tenn vs Syracuse and they had 16 turnovers hoped that despite the lack of pressure by Illinois they would have 10+ turnovers

Was at the game…incredible crowd…we were probably nearly 50/50 split with UT fans. Illini fans were definitely louder…and showed out and packed the bars on Broadway. Not quite as crazy as when the 2012 Bears kicked the sh$t out of the Titans and Chicago fans drank their bars out of beer crazy but still very, very strong. Lots of I-L-L chants…hopefully you heard some on TV.

I got to sit in the same section as these guys. What a blast!

If I was at the game and saw those two, I’d work hard to figure out what Broadway bar they were frequenting post game.

And we recruited and were runner ups for each

Not the same when Kansas didn’t recruit wagler.
