You probably already know this, but AI is not a reliable source of information! A big win for Tennessee?

Great win, nice to see the week of practice pay off. 15 seconds left in the game...the announcer said how impressive Illinois, in the shooters pocket passing was, that's what happens when a full/healthy team practices together. Proud of the team and coaches. ILL!

Just a massive difference in skill with Illinois and TN. Legitimately Gillespie the only one capable of getting own shot with Ament avoiding any and all contact like the plague.

Hustle and physicality kept TN in the game first half. Illinois got after it down stretch in 2nd half and all she wrote

My wife said I was angrier than usual in the first half and I said its because I know they can play like they did in the second!

Also all the people who are piling on Ben can kindly take the rest of the night off.
Methinks that the tape of the first half should become a daily watch for this team as likely the worst collective play by the Balkans we have seen. The second half....on the other hand....seemed to indicate this team may someday become deserving of being called the Fighting Illini.

Normally, I am an optimist. I really like the makeup of this team and their elite skills. And yet the propensity to play soft and slow to rebound and defend at times make it one of the most disappointing Illini teams....but they were not disappointing in the second half tonight.

This Illini team should do to this Tenn. team exactly what we saw done in the second half on most nights. They have the ability to do it to almost any team on any night....if the mindset is right.

Let's hope they embrace the process and become B1G warriors soon. Meanwhile, a nod of respect for a good team win.

Larry Gies went a BIGTIME basketball game...and we won!

Feels like we lose every time I see him on the sideline.

I enjoy quite a few of his songs. He sings from the soul, unlike most of the garbage that fills the radio spots today...
