Somebody with better internet skills than me really needs to grab a gif of Curbelo dancing after Ayo hit that pull up jumper off the dribble. Just as good as air guitar 3 pt bro, imho
Really. The best stat of the game.Maybe I'm exaggerating Wisconsin's rebounding prowess, but when was the last time they got outrebounded like that?
His post was written in a snotty tone, however he has a point. 18 TO. It's a problem. The team is so good at most other things, it masks the TOs. Against Baylor or Gonzaga, that may be an L.Umm...you forgot "fire BU", "bench Trent", "start Curbelo and CoHawk", and "Bardo sucks".
Ayo is having a great year period...problem with comparing is they are completely different players Deron could have put up 20 a night no doubt about that lol he didn't need to we was loaded with good scorers. It might be time to at least *consider* that Ayo is having a better junior year than Deron '05. I'm at least willing to entertain a debate. Damn.
AYO is a bad man lol no doubt a all time favorite..Been watching the Illini over 50 years. Ayo has officially become one of my all time top 5 players in Illini history.
I always refer to Derons Ill-Az game.. A team effort but for sure, Deron was freaking amazing.. Maybe I need to go back and watch it again. It might be time to at least *consider* that Ayo is having a better junior year than Deron '05. I'm at least willing to entertain a debate. Damn.
It was amazing to see anyone complain about the officiating. Granted, it was only two of those tweets, but I don't recall there being anything major that was a head-scratcher. Unless they're upset that Kofi (and the staff) advocated for the fouls being committed against him to be called, but that's what they were.Meltdown in Madison.
Badgers fans on Twitter find plenty to criticize after Wisconsin hammered by Illinois Fighting Illini
Wisconsin State Journal reporter Jim Polzin was swamped with replies after asking Badgers fans on Twitter what they thought of No. 19 Wisconsin's 75-60 loss to the No. 12 Illinoismadison.com

I don’t think Miller played poorly. Hit a couple 3s and played pretty good D. Not a monster game by any stretch but overall solid.
Miller is still a freshman. If he takes anything away from being Ayo’s teammate again, with hard work, you can transform your game in the offseason.Just would love to see him get away from being so one dimensional on offense. Hope his ability to drive to the basket or take mid range shots is in him and will emerge, if not this year, then next year.

I agree with Curbelo --- "D-". However, I grade-out Miller as a "B" vs. the Badgers. Before the season, I predicted he would be our break-out player of the year. Guessing now that probably goes to Curbelo (today's game notwithstanding). Can't say that this was a total laugher but it is the closest we have gotten to one in a while.
Not to be negative but our 2 freshman were not good today. Especially Curbelo.
I agree with you and add that adam did drive the rim at the start of the season so we know he has that ability, but the comp level has increased dramatically into the B1G season and he is finding out that the B1G defenders are better....he will figure it out and as another poster stated hopefully he can improve on his rim skills as Ayo has improved on the things he needed to do.I agree with Curbelo --- "D-". I was thinking Adam might have the versatility to both hit the outside shot AND also get to the rim multiple times per game. (He hasn't yet developed the latter skill at the D1 level.) However, I'm very impressed by his defense. I think that's a big reason he's started every game so far this season. He was a very strong contributor in beating Wisc.
I think we’ll see that more next year when the floor opens up with Ayo and likely Kofi gone. Since his role this year seems to be more 3-point shooter, I’d actually like to see him concentrate more on being in a good shooting position when he receives a pass. I noticed last couple of games he doesn’t always have his feet set ready to shoot when the ball comes to him. Trent does that really well, and if AM could do that more I think his FG% would go up.Just would love to see him get away from being so one dimensional on offense.
