We played our game (11-30 from 3), they played theirs and we won easily.
For all the folks in the game thread screaming for us to stop shooting 3's after we started 2-14. We went 9-16 the rest of the way. Our offense is GOOD. Let it cook.

So frustrating to see Martinelli get triple teamed to the point of having no options, deciding to hit the deck, and drawing a foul while Keaton gets hacked dozens of times during the game with no call.
Feels so good to win in Evanston again. I almost forgot what it was like.

This is the first game I felt Wagler pressed at times, but he is sooo good. Great game with a lot of contributors in small ways. Bam was relentless. It was nice to see Tomi have his best game of the year.

As great as TSJ’s team was, I think this team has a little more potential because they have four guys who can lead the team to a victory (Bam, Wagler, Andrej, Tomi), and four more who can go from role player to hero (Mirk, Z, Jake, and Ben). Marcus was really the only guy other than TSJ who could take over a game.

Good win. Tomi hitting shots and getting going adds an extra dimension and I noticed really increased his energy level, especially rebounding late.
Wagler is just unreal. Say it every game. Boz was very solid all around.
The B10 continues, inexplicably, to very, very poorly manage their games. Refs absolutely sucked.

Winning on the road always presents challenges and this team keeps finding ways to get it down. Wagner had a great second half. Loved seeing Tomi hit big shots. Kylan being Kylan. A comfortable win despite the refs handing NW a 10-0 run with the two techs.
During that same stretch, our zone defense was giving up a lot of open looks. Count me in the camp that is glad we have a zone / different defensive looks to throw at teams. But I sure hope that zone defense gets improved. It seems we go to the zone more often when Z is in. I’m curious if those with more knowledge than me have a sense of why that might be.
