I feel like no matter where Illinois was and where Loyola was.... the committee would've done everything they could to set us up because of the in-state aspect.

Enough about Loyola, its a single elimination tourney.....stuff like that happens to every team...time to move on. That was truly our best shot recently at a FF but if this team keeps improving on defense we are a title contender.

normal jersey got ripped earlier in the game so they had to go with replacement

You’re right. (Single elimination tourney…and s.hit happens to everybody.) I’ve pretty much made peace with it…

In fact, I’ll vow to never, ever bring it up again if the apologists will vow to cease whining about unfavorable draws for the next 40 years OR in other cases refs that are out to screw only Illinois OR those pesky early games that are just too much for the guys in orange & blue; for some strange reason.

In other news, I’m quite happy with this year!! I think Brad should still be taking victory laps for finding Wagler in the weeds.
