Cronin was not happy post game, wow.
"They made it a street fight, it was real clear who won that."
(Maybe a parking lot fight, just sayin.)
I donāt know bro. Seems like the defense turned this game around and that was lead by Harris and Hawkins. They stopped the ātwo man gameā I was so sick of hearing about. Love Dainjaās offense though. We needed what everyone brought in this one. BU seems to know what he is doing.Danija should start and Hawkins needs to come off the bench. He played tentative and seemed lost on offense. RJ also played tentative. Both are very talented but they need to trust their skills and play with more confidence and fluidity. The freshmen are legit! Great battle!!!
Pre-Season
AC: How many dawgs you want on this team?
Daddy Brad: Yes
Late December '97. Their arrogant fans were dismissing us like we were Little sisters of the poor U, until Turner shut them up at the end.I was at that game in ā97 or ā98. Kevin turner hit 8 3s but illini lost. Hometown refereeing didnāt help. 5 senior starters that year and big 10 champions though.
Wait! Who let the dogs out?
Change that to Anderson and people might believe you.Between the two of us, he's actually a front for the real head coach pulling strings from behind the scenes: Tim Beckman.
Imagine him getting a whole year with Fletch? Watch out!! Go Illini!!And here I was thinking I couldn't possibly like Sencire even more, lol
Iād like to see that (on both accounts)I mustāve been a minute behind the field pass guy, cause my videoās much crazier exiting the building. If we beat Michigan tomorrow Vegas might run out of beer.
You are a poet.I am giddy, like a small child on Christmas morn. It's the '80s again. Someone please stitch the ruins of Meyer's mullet onto the back of my head. Man, I am looking forward to this ride. Thank you, boys!
I never knew Jerry Lewis played college basketball. Is Dean on the bench?
MM just seemed like a very likable guy and great teammate.Watching the postgame interviews, I appreciate how much TSJ and MM prop up other teammates in their answers.
Iāve been wondering when Iād see the first āstart Hawkinsā post. At 35 minutes, only Shannon (38) had more minutes tonight than Hawk. Dainja had 18 minutes, so they are playing at the same time quite a bit. Hawk had some problems today, but he did some good things ā especially on D. And I think he assisted on at least 3 (2 for sure) of Dainās baskets.Danija should start and Hawkins needs to come off the bench. He played tentative and seemed lost on offense. RJ also played tentative. Both are very talented but they need to trust their skills and play with more confidence and fluidity. The freshmen are legit! Great battle!!!
I'll allow it. He was giving UCLA credit for playing well against one of the top four or five teams in the country.announcer says give a lot of credit to UCLA? why, they lost and were ranked higher. give credit to illinois!
LOL. I think someone hacked your account earlier in the week cuz sure sounds like youāre one of those āamusing posters.ā In a post from your account earlier in the week:Reading a bit on a UCLA forum, their fans kept talking about how their players were gassed, that conditioning was clearly in Illinois favor. Hats off to Mr Adam Fletcher. Also, it is amusing how some posters were saying that 3-1 in our next 4 games is the best we could do, and that a split ( or even 1-3) would be ok, that UCLA had a more talented roster. This team is good, and I'm going into every game thinking we will win. What a difference a few years and a great coach makes. That was fun.
My favorite was the roundish bruins fan in the middle of a sea of orange wearing a face mask looking sad.my favorite part of the game was jacquez getting cocky and making hand gestures and jawing early in the second half only to be completely dejected by the end. LOL
Let's see it!I mustāve been a minute behind the field pass guy, cause my videoās much crazier exiting the building. If we beat Michigan tomorrow Vegas might run out of beer.
Like we did for the ucla game? No!Give it time. We'll be complaining about the officiating in the football game tomorrow.
