That's my happiest takeaway of the game... How about Kylan's grown man rebound? Fun fact, Ben the last 3 games 1 rebound, 1 rebound, 1 rebound...

Kylan willed us to win that game.
Not surprising it was Boswell who almost literally dragged us over the line. He grew up with this rivalry game. He gets it.

Anyone see what started the scuffle at the end of the game? I was in the arena and I saw Tomislov shove that huge number 21 from Missouri in the back but not what happened right before that. Everything got heated after that and that's why mizzou went off without shaking hands
21 should have been out of the game when he threw Rez to the floor. Crap basketball, but A+ wrestling there

I personally yelled at this game the most in years. 8-10 fouls called against legal guarding position (jump straight up with hands up), or this is a 15 point win. Tre's last foul confusing? Somehow still won, a terrible called game. I guess it was the plus 12 rebounds and the 22-23 FT's. Hard to pump up the SEC with those 2 stats, even with them shooting 15 more FT's.

Great win, Screw the SEC narrative. We are built different

College basketball is not designed to be played in 2 hours and 20+ minutes. Refs completely came unraveled in 2nd half, but the Illini did just enough in the end. So many bad calls on Morez and Tre today. Just hard to be view whistle fest.

A win is a win, though, and will make the holidays much better. Only gripe is that the beloved continue to allow the opposition to comeback in late game situations. That needs to be cleaned up, but I will sip on a bourbon happily after the outcome of this game.

The only thing I saw from the broadcast was right after the buzzer is Tomi went to grab the ball from Perkins who would not give the ball up.

Great hard fought win. KJ is our best player but Boswell is the heart and soul of this team and that's a good thing being that he's our most experienced player at high level play. No need to even mention Ben as experienced- he literally provides no benefits and actually hurts us when out there as a weak link. Still need to work on turnovers- especially KJ still committing them at way too high a rate. Will struggling with the physicality of big boy college basketball. He really needs another year in college to get stronger and more explosive. Glad to see Morez get more PT. If only Booth wasn't so incredibly soft- we could really use his size and athleticism in place of Ben.

With the way we inbound the ball and the way Ben boxes out, no, do not do this. We are one of the few teams where this strategy has a decent chance of giving us a mind melting loss.
Sadly I came to this conclusion a few years ago as well even if it goes against the math

DGL’s 7 points prove to be huge.

Will Riley now 2/23 from 3pt range in last 6 games.

Ben 1 rebound in 21 minutes

What did we learn this game? That it’s essentially KJ or bust. He is carrying the team. He’s scored at least 20 points in 6 straight games.

DGL brought an edge today …

Will needs to give us more … They’ve gotta figure some things out with him …

Ben … He can get used to that bench …
