Was good to see some hedging instead of drop coverage every time. Also good to see some pin downs for Will to come off for mid range. Also like the smash action with Boswell and KJ. would to see us run some floppy for Will and Kj to come off those pin downs. I know Will is not as good shooter as Plummer (miss that guy) but wish we would run the pin down high low action that we ran with Kofi and Plummer with Will and Tomi. Obviously that was during Gentry’s time so we ran more sets…

Solid win! Would love to see the same effort in our next two games. 29 threes is still too many, especially being 3/14 for the first half.

Defense looked much better and locked in tonight. Great work by the staff on getting the team up for this one. Hopefully we can keep this up for the rest of the season!

I realize most everyone notices this. But it is stunning how fewer posts there always are when we win as opposed to when we lose. Lose and the posts come like explosive diarrhea and projectile vomit. Not a great reflection of human nature, eh?

They do run good stuff.
I mean he churns out top 30 offenses like clockwork including a bunch top 10 ones whenever he has some talent. They tend to always move the ball really well, limit turnovers, and get good looks despite being relatively unathletic.

His problem has always been his defenses and not having enough athleticism at Iowa.

He's about to turn 66 so I'd imagine he might retire or get another head coaching job at a smaller conference. Both Penn and Lehigh have been struggling and he's got ties to both.

It would be interesting though if he was willing to be an offensive assistant to see what he could do if you recruited some athleticism for him. I don't know if his buyout includes offsetting salaries but he will get a nice buyout so if it doesn't offset a decent asst coach salary could push him towards 2 mil a year for the next 3 years.

That Siena team with Hasbrouck was fun to watch.

When Boswell and White play like that, we are a formidable team. There's still time to salvage the regular season. Two games left, both against ranked, teams, but it's not much of a stretch to see us winning both and closing out with 20 wins ahead of the BTT. I don't remember the name of that elite guard Purdue has, but I'd like to see Boswell in his shirt all night long. Get really physical with him, but that's something Kylan can do.

Want to give credit where it’s due …

Brad - I saw some good adjustments / tweaks on defense …

Stunting … Getting into gaps … Showing some different things in ball screen defense which included some hedging which I’ve been begging to see …
Yes, and they passing was crisp and intentional (especially early). The soft and fancy lazing passing had been driving me crazy.

I didn't get to follow the pregame thread. So did Underwood finally decide to end the Humrichous experiment or did something else cause him to not start?
Correct he did not start, and his overall minutes were reduced. In his limited time, he knocked down a couple of 3s and did fine out there.

When he’s not forcing things … He’s a really, really good player … Thought his looks from corner 3 were good … He attacked the basket with power …

If I had to give one thing I’d like to see improve from him and honestly our team as a whole … It’s definitely rebounding …
Exactly. What are the chances he stays?
