My only gripe tonight was the flagrant on Boswell. Are you not allowed a take foul anymore? Nothing seemed flagrant at all, and it could have turned the game, had there not been a huge block by Stojakovic.

That flagrant-1 call was pure nonsense

Is an intentional foul a flagrant 1? The foul was intentional: might have gotten him for the left arm coming around the other side. But no, it wasn't a rough foul.

you can take a foul, but it MUST be a basketball play. Boz could have been way more violent and went with a chop across the arm in an “attempt to steal the ball” and would have been totally fine. You just cannot “intentionally foul” in college basketball. It’s a gay rule for sure.
