Tied for fourth.I take Belo over him so maybe 4th?

I made the mistake of going to one of their boards last night. OMG the crying and whining. The fan base, except for a few reflects their whiney coach. 90% of the comments were complaining about the refs and the not so subtle "Thugs" comments. It was embarrassing. Perhaps don't allow the opposing team to own the paint, and have your POY clog the lane.
Bohannon had on out of body shooting game for this season - but got abused by AC more than a few times and I am sure a freshman doing that to an 8th year player probably stung.Oh, and still. Sorry. Cant sleep.
Almost all of these highlights are abuse of Bohannon. It's so satisfying to see it, especially after seeing his Twitter posts.
Love it. If we make even 33% of our threes (5-15) we win by 17 pts!Best thing I love from the stat sheet - we only hit 20% of our threes (3-15) and didn't need any of them to get the win
Normally has been Jermaine in that limited role. Clue to the future? In our previous matchup, BBV was Garza on the scout team. He is also a lot bigger than Hawkins. BBV was excellent in him limited minutes, but I highly doubt he has supplanted Hawkins in the rotation.
Points Rebounds Assists FGKofi dominated Garza. Difference in the game. Made Garza look clumsy and unathletic.
I think it is more of Bossman has the body to body up Garza.Normally has been Jermaine in that limited role. Clue to the future?
All tears taste great, but those Hawkeye one’s are always just a little bit saltier. Here is a link from an Iowa sports blog:
"There’s certainly no team I hate more right now than this Illini squad and Brad Underwood."
Iowa falls to Illinois in Big Ten Tournament semifinal, 82-71
Kofi Cockburn and the Illini were too much for the Hawks to handle — againwww.blackheartgoldpants.com
The difference between him and me is that there is no team I hate more than Iowa now, in the past, and forever. Here is a link from an Iowa sports blog:

And in the two areas that are potentially are biggest weaknesses, we were solid:Love it. If we make even 33% of our threes (5-15) we win by 17 pts!
Another stat sheet surprise and evidence of "everyone contributes":
Q: Who was Illinois leading rebounder?
A: D. Williams - 9 (with only 20 min. playing time) followed by Kofi - 8, THEN Curbelo - 7, Ayo - 7. (Totals ILL 42 - IA 35)
and playing excellent d 100% of the time we don't have the ball and he's on the court. And the great thing is Ayo does not feel has has to get his numbers. He sits back until he is needed. He keeps everyone involved. When he has to he goes for it. Everyone on the team seems to accept their roles. Giorgi and DaMonte accept coming off the bench. Frazier does what ever is needed - tough defense and score if needed. Seems like a real team working together.
Ayo did a great job of guarding Wieskamp in the second half without hurting his offensive output.....and playing excellent d 100% of the time we don't have the ball and he's on the court.
Math checks out.I just saw a tweet that said 31% of our field goals yesterday were dunks.
Not saying it wasn’t a foul, but started as an arm bar to the chest on a rebound attempt. Player used arm to shift it up to neck.I can't knock Damonte for that. He's playing hard like everyone else, it's not like he's a dirty player. He just needs to not get himself in that situation but I can't knock the game for playing hard and thru the play.
I cannot imagine anyone who has played college ball complaining about that call. 100% of the time if you bring your extended arm down on a driving offensive player it will be called a foul. That seems like a pretty basic action to avoid on defense unless you are fouling intentionally and trying to prevent the 3 pt play.
The hate for Curbelo over there is strong. They are in for a long three more years! LOL!I made the mistake of going to one of their boards last night. OMG the crying and whining. Their backup center, Nunge, looks like a really good player. They'll still have Bohannon, Fredrick, Wieskamp, and Murray. They'll still be in the upper-half of the B1G next year. The best thing is with Garza leaving, I feel like Iowa and Fran are going back to the mid to lower level of the B1G. That does hurt, he have been there before. It makes fans angry. T- minus 5 years before Iowa and Fran part ways imho. We are on the rise they are on the decline. Angry little yellow fellas.
