Gotta scold the Illini for not knocking the oxygen out of UCLA, sooner.
Still, a delicious win and way to welcome a blue blood heavyweight to the Big Ten.
You follow up this game with a practice session called “how not to beat yourselves”.
Gotta say no to high risk passes into the paint. Gotta show more concentration with the ball. Gotta learn how to turn up defensive intensity against an opponent when their legs are buckling.
But if the Illini were a stock, I’d say we hit bottom already this past week - and now we’re primed to go parabolic.
