That wasn’t always pretty, but it was a good win against a hot team. And one that was shooting lights out from 3 tonight.

I hated how we gave up those big runs at the end of both the 1st and 2nd half. But proud of the way we closed out the last minute or two.

Now let’s get some payback on Sparty this Saturday.

has anyone said what he did (or didn’t) do?

Absolutely a must have for everyone. He is the missing piece. Get his brother over her next year and let’s win the championship.

Glad for the win. Disappointed in the team letting UCLA get back in it. But, especially disappointed in the staff. WTF are they doing during a 13-0 run? Up 16 with 4:30 left and just watch - until 1:08 - as that lead slipped to 3 with NOT 1 TIMEOUT CALLED by BU to make any adjustments whatsoever? We need some coaching help, stat!

Help me understand why Johnson and DGL didn't play more. Am I missing something?
Yes, Johnson guards the perimeter like garbage, sonit was just a terrible matchup for him. Secondly, he's a bad foul shooter.

DGL looked tired on both ends. When he missed the wide open put back, followed by getting bullied in the lane at the end of the first half......he didn't look right. No energy and if he doesn't bring that, he shouldn't be out there. That's his #1 asset.

Thoughts:

- There were times in that game, if we had stepped on their neck...we win this by 20.

- The last 5 minutes were so difficult to watch. I do think UCLA just got hot, I mean...everything they were throwing up went in

- The defense was really good at times...and the just lazy and unfocused at other times. They can be really good defensively, but I gotta see it for a full game.

- IMO it should have been more Morez and less Hum down the stretch...Morez just has better feet and even as a Freshman, he is so much better athletically that I would have trusted him more on defense when we were getting torched.

- The half court offense continues to be stagnant. They have to be willing to try different looks, move more, bounce the ball around. Too many times it just ended up being KJ running around screens but not really using them for anything useful. I need more variation and way more downhill. Get. To. The. Hoop.

Reverted to forced 3's in the last 5 minutes, almost cost us. Glad to see our 3's in rhythm drop. I hope this continues. Was super happy to see us break the press with quick passes those last couple of possessions.

Gotta clean up turnovers
Gotta have balanced scoring, in and out
Gotta find new defense (no adjustments on Bilodough?)

I know Hummer has taken some criticism over the course of the season and rightfully so.
But it’s easy to see when he’s gassed.
Morez should’ve taken 8-9 minutes of the second half.
He was markedly improved when he came off the bench and wasn’t starting. I think it’s exactly this reason. He’s not able to play that many minutes in this league. His legs get gassed and it affects his shooting. Brad is expecting way too much out of him.
