ucla was one of the hottest teams in the conference, and it showed. We played really good to snap their 7 game win streak.

Will Riley is looking more comfortable every game. And I really believe the best of him and Morez is yet to come.

And giving credit where it's due, BH made some plays down the stretch. He was a factor in this one.

BAM just tough as nails in this one too.

Tomi and KJ huge.

We may not be all the way there, but our elevator is going up.

Morez was a +8 in 20 minutes while Ben was a -3 in 35. And Morez committed 1 foul the whole game. Explain it to me. Someone. Anyone.
1)UCLA had bigs that could stretch the floor and hit the three. Morez is not quick enough to get there and drop back. Late in the game, he's a liability because he's going to be a foul target.

2)Ben is quick enough to get out to shooters and while I know the last one rimmed out, you can trust that he'll go to the line and make the foul shots. He was 3 of 4.

A must win tonight and we closed it out by the big hand of a Tomi tip out and hitting 18-20 FT's.....The acrobatic 2 point shot late by KJ just inside the arc was electric and so dramatic.......

The defensive schemes in last 3-4 minutes shows that we need a competent AC handling those duties........

Protecting our home court is absolutely a necessity for the remainder of the season........concerning that we get big leads but can't continue to grow the lead and put a team away decisively earlier than we are...... need a competent AC to do that.........

I'm running a fever with a sore throat so gonna wrap it up for now......I really really am..........................

Glad for the win. Disappointed in the team letting UCLA get back in it. But, especially disappointed in the staff. WTF are they doing during a 13-0 run? Up 16 with 4:30 left and just watch - until 1:08 - as that lead slipped to 3 with NOT 1 TIMEOUT CALLED by BU to make any adjustments whatsoever? We need some coaching help, stat!
That’s what I was wondering also.

My thing is i don't want us to hold every shot till the shot clock ends when we have a good lead like we used to do in the weber days and then get completely out of the flow of the offense. But that quick 3 from boswell got underneath my skin a bit cause for 1 that's a shot we could get anytime desired.what I'd like to see us do when we have a good lead is to continue to probe the defense and move the ball not just chuck up a bad 3 with 20 seconds on the shot clock and sadly boswell has done that multiple times this season.it makes me wonder if Brad has pulled him to the side and say whether in film room or etc saying you know we can literally get that shot anytime we want let's work the clock and run within the offense for a better shot.but a win is a win ILL

Staff doesn’t know how or when to use timeouts

I was at the game and here's a few observations I made:

-Much better overall flow to our offense now that we have enough wrinkles (not just KJ getting picks)
-Our defense in the first half was stellar, our defense in the 2nd half, especially late was atrocious (another 53 point half).
-This team still lacks a killer instinct and we struggle mightily in closing minutes of games. The end of that game will surely give all of us grey hairs.
-Why on earth Brad is still playing Ben meaningful minutes (35) is beyond me. I couldn't believe that Morez essentially sat the bench the entire 2nd half.
-Our obvious best lineup was Tomi, Morez, Will, Kyland, KJ-But hey, Brad gets paid the big bucks to disagree with me.

BIGGEST TAKEAWAY:
After 34 hit his 5th or 6th 3, Underwood called a timeout and Hamer (I'm pretty confident) went to say something to Brad and his immediately stopped him and looked like he was ready to steal his soul. Hamer sat down and looked like his puppy got hit by a car. I'm pretty certain Brad was enraged by the gameplan and issues we were having with 34.

Maybe it's just me, but I actually thought the crowd was terrible tonight. There were times when we increased the lead past 10 and the place should've been ROCKING and impossible to hear and it was nearly silent. Maybe I'm just getting older but it just doesn't feel like the crowd has a killer instinct either.

Maybe BU knows what he has with this team, and he truly is playing this season for March? Maybe he is letting them figure it out under duress so when the games REALLY mean something they have these games to draw upon? Too crazy for even me to believe....but if he ends up taking us to the Final 4, he's a damn genius and I will never question him again!

So looks like I’ll keep watching games on replay.

Yet Brad always says how smart he is, bball IQ etc.

I can't figure how he hasn't made an effective change re this 25 games in.
I want to throw this out there because I'm not sure people remember(maybe because he's from overseas)......KJ is only a freshman.

WR is only a freshman
Morez is only a freshman
Tomi is only a freshman (on court freshman)

Four of our main rotational pieces are freshmen and we're going to win 20 games again. Let that sink in.
