Nothing to add that has not been said. Holding Martinelli to 4 pts. might be the highlight and certainly a key. But sadly, the Wildcats slaughtered the Illini in the turnover battle 11-1! I want somebody's job!!!!!

After seeing this team play 2 or 3 games with patchwork lineups and hobbled players everywhere, I could envision this bunch playing at this level we saw tonight...but I do that every year. Now we have seen it. What, truly, is the ceiling? They sure have 8 guys who can play at a high level and the staff seems to be putting the pieces in the right places.

But, more importantly, I get great satisfaction from seeing a bunch of talented kids learn that they can do so much more than they ever realized...individually...and as a team. There will be but one team that has their dream come true...why not the Fighting Illini?

Welcome aboard, partner! It was a lonely ride in the beginning...
I have a very strong feeling that we're going to need multiple Locomotives to pull this train come March (y)

Martinelli made 2 shots for 4 points on 2 of 10 shooting, got 2 total rebounds, committed 2 fouls, and had 1 assist. Last seen, he was taking what little was left of his self respect, and boarding a team bus headed north.

What a game. The passing is so fun to watch.

Jake Davis is making himself some money. The confidence he's shown with Boswell out is incredible. I'm very excited to have another year of him.

Not to be a debbie downer, but I do think we just cost ourselves a Q1 win.
