Nice game, good D for the most part and good offense overall. If Luke can hit some threes consistently, that would be a great boost. Also like that we only had 9 TOs; gotta continue to take care of the ball. Rebounding was great. Gets a lot tougher from here, hopefully we can continue to improve. Very refreshing to watch a game with fewer than 25 fouls called.

Really good game tonight from almost everyone who stepped on the court. I liked seeing Ty aggressively running the offense in the first half as TSJ took more of a backseat, and also thought Marcus did a great job setting the table as well. Quincy played Hella good defense tonight and Dain was an absolute force out there. Also great to see Luke looking like the shooter he is.

My only negatives coming out of the game is Harmon did not look good out there on either end of the court. He just has really struggled with his on ball defense and constantly a step behind the play. And DGL was unfortunately abused tonight on defense with WIU taking advantage of him whenever he was out there. DGL's offense was good though he was never looking to get his teammates involved. Those 2 things just don't bode well when it comes to getting playing time in our games that matter.

But again, that was some really good team basketball tonight and some very solid basketball. Onto the games that matter!

Dain’s effort was fantastic. Hope BU rewards him with more minutes if he keeps that effort up.

Other than Dain, solid overall effort. Marcus looks like if he’s not out of his funk, he’s close. Same with Quincy. Amani still just a little bit sped up. Didn’t light up the box score but maybe Harmon’s best game, at least the game I would say he looked most comfortable.

Felt like we didn’t do a good job of grabbing the ball tonight. A lot of squibs that just kind of found their way to Western. Would like to see a higher assist %. And of course, free throws, both more attempts and a higher percentage. Terrance had it cooking from 3 but he should never shoot 2 free throws a game, especially against a team like that.

But really just picking nits. Lets get Coleman healthy and see what we got, starting next Saturday.

Because he was playing a mid major
No, because Dain is great against guys who are Dain-size or smaller. Cisse is 6'10", so that is small enough, and Sissoko is too at 6'9", but Edey at 7'4" and Dickinson at 7'2" are too big for Dain. For those centers, we need CH back and hitting his shots like he did against KU.

I thought the offense looked good tonight. We moved it well and scored pretty well without TJS having to take over the game really. Good sign for us to do that without him being overly aggressive and without Hawkins at all.
