Yea the change to not switching everything looks SO much smoother. Harris was out there fighting through screens like he was Frazier.
Offense was still a little disjointed running sets, they don't always look like they know where they are supposed to be but a couple times it worked to perfection. Definitely better than standing around playing isoball.
Yeah it’s clear he is hurting. All his shots are flat.
If you didn't watch the game and wanna know how RJ played tonight it was encapsulated in a moment.
There was a scrum for the ball and RJ watched. Beth-Cook came out with it and Lieb fouled their player on a dunk attempt.
Brad pulled RJ out of the game and you could hear him in a dead quiet arena scream: "GET ON THE FLOOR!!!"

First time in almost a month that our guys looked like they liked basketball... and it showed.
Glad Brad scrapped the switching D. I've said it before and after tonight's performance, feel validated in saying so again, traditional m2m defense breeds toughness and forces players to be accountable. The focus and intensity we saw in the first half was a direct result of the defensive adjustment.
Also, I think we have a proverbial "QB controversy" on our hands. Hope the players are mature enough to handle it.

Great effort in first half. Disappointed with the middle third to half of the second half. Feel like we should have won the second half by 15 easy but being loose with the ball and bad shot selection predictably led to run outs and easy points for them. Hope the film shows even more what to do and not to do.
More of what we watched vs Miznoz. Still, good effort and I'm looking forward to the pussycats.
Rj is not a big ten player, at least not yet. Still looking for a leader. Is it sincere???? Also take CHawk out of all first round projections. Butter soft!!!

Dain is a nimble lad around the paint and shows good spin moves.....................
TSJ with a lot of energy also and regained his driving to the rim.....dropped a couple of 3's also..................
Michael Matthews with a good all around game and a couple of blocks.................
Cohawk with a double double and finally hit a good looking 3 ....................
Epps is a bucket maker....plain and simple................................
RJ played better but I bet his shoulder is still aching a bit...................

We needed this game bad........Looks like some of the practice changes have paid off.......
Very little switching at all resulted in a miniscule of easy baskets for beth-c..............
I know the competition was many rungs lower , but , you know , I don't care ....We needed this game bad......I didn't see BU go ballistic tonight ....maybe I missed it , but it was refreshing to not see a camera honing in on his veins bulging out of his body......
My trifecta is 2/3 's of the way home...........Let's go Blues for the trifecta sweep........for those that don't know , my first win was getting excused from jury duty due to my Dr. faxing a note to the jury scheduler........A big weight off of my shoulders ...........

To be great we will need CHawk & RJ playing well. Idk how to make this happen. We can be damn good without them, but I don't think we can be great.
When his shots not falling … He’s disengaged … Refuses to play hard on D and won’t make hustle plays …
