Had one of our worst games and gave Texas more than they could handle. Good feelings all around.
Takes me back to the AZ game in the Elite 8 in 02. Similar situation. We were dead and buried. And then we clawed our way out of our own grave. What an incredible attitude this group of players has.
Was feeling bad with 10 to go. Got off the couch and did some things around the house to come back to a 5 point game. Tremendous grit by this team to gut out a win in this one. Man, this one's going to be big come March; Texas is the real deal! As bad as we looked for stretches, we looked tremendous in OT. Expectations sky high for this season after that win, when I thought I might have to dial them down just 30 minutes ago!
He just tilts the court whenever he steps on it. This kid is special. I just love watching him play.
