After attending this game in person watching closely from the Krush section, I was happy to see our Illini make half-time adjustments and come out aggresively. As a retired educator who observed Coach Underwood closely, I'm a little concerned about the fine line he's walking in regards to constructive/destructive criticism, in particular with Mark Smith, who after having a rough game, had shoulders that seemed to slump with every Underwood yank. On the other hand, I'm thrilled to see Aaron Jordan get rewarded for his hard work, perseverance, and loyalty. Very interesting to watch the coaching dynamics at work...just hoping that Coach can pull the right strings...

If Mark wants to play at the next level then making through Underwood and his teaching methods will be critical.
