Good performance by Rio. Petro was a game changer. Team defense was awful. FFS throw some zone in already.

How many more games does this staff need to see that 3 of our 4 primary bigs are on roller skates when they get taken out on perimeter playing man??

Wagler led the team in rebounding. He had a good game other than the shooting, which needs to improve.

I feel good about our top 8 guys. The struggle with this group is the interior D against teams that get downhill. Also need to get Tomi fully re-acclimated.

So, uh, yeah what was this beaten Mihalo and Geoff at the end of the 1st half?

Just seemed like tonight Mihalo was extremely frustrated and would get snippy with the staff, like this. Don’t love that but hope to see him play more because he’s electric.

This was a poorly played game and low effort by a team that seems to lack an understanding of what is required to be elite and win games against elite teams.

We will see of what they are capable on Friday. There is so much offensive talent and so little defensive "want to". Learning what that takes may take some time and may never get done. For sure, a 14 pt. win over UTRGV at home is somewhat of a disappointment for a group thinking about winning it all.

Hats of to the Vaqueros who never let up...they evidently learned their lesson on Sat.

Trying to stay optimistic, but we just let a team shoot 42% on 26 threes while shooting 26% on 30 ourselves - on our floor! Lack of defense is very concerning, and UCONN will destroy us if we show up like this Friday. Not to mention TN.
The same team that shot 42% from 3 just lost . . . just sayin’ . . .

Not pretty, but a win is a win. UTRGV is athletic, quick and scrappy. They shot 42.3% from 3 which is the only thing that kept it “close” - if that’s what we call a 14 point win. I will take it.
Two requests:
1. Please, contain yourselves if you are constantly on the BH hate train. BH is playing very well this year. Defends, hustles, block shots, rebounds, high BB IQ and doesn’t turn the ball over. He’s a terrific player to come off the bench.
2. 19/22 (86.4%)from the free throw line. Breathe people, breathe.

Now, let’s clean it up and bi*ch slap Hurley and Co. in NYC.

Have you ever played competitive sports before? Impassioned speech/exchanges are just normal for the most part.
