Some on here think he never has them playing good ball….ever
Unfortunately, his two pointers included 4 totally unguarded layups. Unforgivable.
Painter is always a joy to listen to and he's a class act through and through
It was electric. I was proud to show my college aged daughters that atmosphere. My throat is pretty sore this morning, but it was definitely worth the trip from AZ!
I doubt it, nor in D.C., though I'd selfishly love it given it's my home. My guess is that the conference will hold it (long before either of those) in Vegas or L.A. at some point soon for our new west coast sibs.I was right there with you brother! My trip overall was fantastic! But those 3 hours were BRUTAL! It was great to finally see a game in MSG. It is truly a sports shrine! I hope to get to another game there soon. I'd love to see us schedule a game there every other year or so. Is a B1G tournament scheduled to be there in the near future?
For a conference spread coast to coast with its roots in the Midwest, the only two really logical places for the BTT are Indy and Chicago. However, as we saw last year with Minneapolis and will see in future years, it’s going to be spread around quite a bit. I’d say any NBA-style arena in the B1G footprint will be a candidate and bid for it.I doubt it, nor in D.C., though I'd selfishly love it given it's my home. Its natural home is in Indy and I hope to make the trip soon.
As for MSG, given the stature of the program at this time, I'd bet we're back there soon for a November tourney or a one-off in Jan/Feb. IMO, one of the world's greatest venues. Seeing half of it painted orange a couple weekends ago, and what that indicates about the fervor of our fan base, did my heart good.

Thanks. Hadn't noticed that. God willing, I'll be in Indy in '27.They already announced Vegas will host in 2028. UC gets it in the 2026 and back to Indy in 2027.
I miss Bennetti-Steve Stone combo.I miss the Bennetti-Bill Walton combo.
For like the first 1/3 or 1/4 of the season.Tre had one bad month, likely due to his illness and doghouse stuff. But the last 3 weeks he is looking great, and if he continues to nail that corner 3 he makes te team so much better.
Bottom line is I hope he finishes strong and returns next year. Not sure he wants to bounce around every year. A core of Boswell, Morez, Tomi, and Tre would be pretty good. Would think you want a stud big SG in the mold of Tonje. With development, can that player be Tre? With Ty playing the 3? Ty was the PG for an elite 8 team.
That's fair. I watched them a lot last season, and get the part about enjoying banter, but...over time I started to feel like their content was generated for clicks, and not really what they genuinely thought...or their thoughts were too inconsistent. I'm not hating on them, as they gotta make money, but...they are very good at generating clicks and views. Their content just isn't for me anymore.I'm sorry. Those guys are a riot. I'm there for the ridiculous banter with college basketball sprinkled in.
Don’t see white (current or developing) filling the SG role.Tre had one bad month, likely due to his illness and doghouse stuff. But the last 3 weeks he is looking great, and if he continues to nail that corner 3 he makes te team so much better.

MSU? He's on a roll.I try to do my part to carry the flag for those of our generation kicking around on the Board.
"Was it over when MSU blew out the Illini in MSG??!!"
I like that. A lot.
Let's face it, he didn't throw up in front of Tom Izzo. He threw up on Tom Izzo.MSU? He's on a roll.
