To me, it’s important to remember the pain, the disgust, the despair. To remember all the blunt declarations of “I am done with this team. We’re going nowhere”.
Bigger than basketball. This is a reminder and a lesson revisited for life at large. To persevere when the world feels filled with filth. To remember that unimaginable joy is always realistic and realizable a little further down the road, beyond the darkness.
