There will be some bumps in the road, but I think we're going to have a LOT of fun watching this team.

My brothers and I have a group chat during games. Here is one post and replies.

Brother 1 - "Helps the spacing too that you have a 7 footer that’s an awesome passer and a 6-6 PG that’s also an awesome passer. "

Brother 2 - "The more Europeans, the better."

Me - "Also known at The Gonzaga Theory. And I'm here for it!"

Ok...

Enjoy every minute of Kasparas...I think it's only one year for him.

For a Freshmen, he is as advanced of a offensive PG as you will see. Passing is outstanding, he sees the court extremely well, he is never sped up, his handle is excellent. As a Freshman, you just don't see point guards that calm, collective and poised.

The thing that stands out for me the most though, is his leadership...he, already, is the undisputed leader if the team. He is talking and giving guidance every...single...play. He's unselfish, fun to play with and from every bit of info we have, is a basketball junkie...it's ball and that's it for him.

For an NBA scout, he's a 6'6 true blue PG. And if he keeps developing like this, he'll be the highest Illnois player drafted in a while.

I will eat crow and slam myself. BigBen has a great looking shot. Nothing like listening and watching, while Dion and Barhardt call game. Barhardt is hilarious. He absolutely love say. Kj" and Tomi's last name I'm gonna hear their names in my sleep. SIUE will win a good deal of games this year.

Great post. Imagine if KJ and TJ played together.

Indiana only beat them 80-61 and that was with Mbako having a career night with 31 pts on 13-17 fg.

Think we're pretty good.

Pretty pretty good.
Very high ceiling...but not good yet. I am certain BU would assess the same....but if they close in on their potential, another special season is possible. Much to do but hard work will get it done. What I see is a well-balanced team with shooters, and 4 of them are 6'8"+. Pretty exciting.
