For those not watching
Hawkins has made the leap, best comparable is Brian Cook. Him hitting 3s just won't be fair.
Payne I actually thought he looked much better today regarding moving his feet. A defensive presence, can jump, provides great prescense inside. Will be happy with him, Hawk and Verdonk playing the 4/5 next year.
BBV finally had his legs underneath him. Going to need him in those BIG games when foul trouble hits, keep plsying him to get him comfortable in those battles.
Plummer can shoot but doesnt provide the physical prescence that Williams, Grandison, Hutch can provide.
Williams not getting the shots, but his base and strength provides a prescense and fills the intangible stats. He is a grown arse man playing with boys. Lacks many offensive abilities, but read the last sentence.
Grandy, Trent, Curbelo all played thete usual quality game.

Dam this team is deep and talented. Biggest weakness is to keep the offense diverse and spread the wealth. Curbelo playing 2 on 2 with Kofi will lead to another Loyola type loss.

It will be interesting to see if CH continues his progression when Kofi is back. I'm hoping(sure BU is too) that they can coexist on the floor without production dropoff.

I think they not only can coexist, but they will thrive together. Coleman is IMO the ideal PF to complement Kofi at C. But he probably won't have any more 14-rebound games playing alongside Kofi.

A starting lineup of Curbelo, Frazier, Grand, Coleman, and Kofi seems pretty obvious at this point. Plummer, Damonte, and either Payne or BBV off the bench.

Took the kids and some of their friends to the game tonite and it's odd, experiencing the game in person is quite different from watching on TV. Feel like I missed a lot and overall I thought we looked really average and mistake-prone against a pretty scrappy team.

We’re you watching a different game? That was pure domination

Only concern about them coexisting is hawk has scored a lot of points being aggressive on the boards. Kofi might jam that up a bit.
But yea, he’s pretty much the perfect four because he can do everything. Not a back to the basket guy.

On vacation so I haven't watched yet. Thanks for the reports. Payne and BBV with 9 fouls in 18 min? 5 in 6 for Payne?

I heard a lot of "great pass by Curbelo, and the shot by ____ is... no good". Is it just me? I do love Curbelo... Seems like his assist numbers could be higher when our guys get more used to him getting them the ball.

Now appearing in Tampa
If Belo has the ball, his back to you, dribbling the other way, surrounded by three defenders, and you cut to the basket, think like a Boy Scout, “be prepared”, something good is coming your way.

Sorry but the Warren Carter love by some is overdone. Bad recruiting on any team leaves guys with lots of minutes that result in some gaudy stats. Look back at the 20ppg guys at Penn State that really didn't do much later.

CoHawk is looking good on a great team.
I don't care if there is any logic here - you leave Warren Carter alone!

Add Hutch off the bench and still like to dream about his upside. Could be Hawk equivalent in offensive rebounds and blocking shots. Choices abound.
