Michigan is a good matchup for us. They have no perimeter creator. Plus they're also kind of a paper tiger and now with all the data out, the metrics somewhat agree that they're probably not a top 3 seed.
Tall Iowa…?
Nah, I think you’re right. But I suspect if we played them 5 more times we’d eventually get their A game. Wolf isn’t usually that bad; for example.

Last time Illinois lost to Michigan…

…Adonis De La Rosa played 7 minutes.

And my almost 6 year old daughter wasn’t born. She’s never seen an Illini loss to Michigan.
Adonis! Now that made me laugh.

And isn’t that the kind of world we all want for our children? A world where Michigan always, always…always loses to Illinois.
(I mean…sure…world peace and all that crap is nice too…I guess.)
beautiful happy endings GIF

We are now the first team to ever win five straight games at Crisler Arena/Crisler Center.

There goes Brad, under performing again.
Brad owns this record along with being the only coach to win 4 straight at the Kohl Center.

Assuming I didn’t Homer Simpson my math here…Brad has a 37-48 conference road record since 2017. His first two years he went 1-19 . If we exclude the Matic Vesel & Mark Alstork years, his conference road record is 36-29 since 2019…that’s fricken ELITE.
