Illinois 93, Wisconsin 87 - Big Ten Tournament Champions

Agree with everything you've said....but I thought Goode was on the floor at the end because he can shoot and make FT's ......you noticed DD and QG were cheering on the sideline
Today was the first time I’d heard Goode was injured. I’m sure his injury had something to do with his struggles lately.

I like Wisconsin and will be pulling for them in the tourney. They are a likeable bunch.
Agreed. I can’t help but like Storr, even though I wish he was on the Beloved. Same for Hepburn, even though I’ll hate facing him for 2 more years. Scrappy bunch. Don't love Gard, but I won’t hold that against the players.

Snapped a few pics. Lots of people taking selfies and TSJ, MD, Dain, QG and Ty in particular stayed a long time. I didn’t ask for any pics with the guys, figured they had enough people asking. Fun times!

What a great win and statement weekend. Showing the nation we can win even when we are not playing to our full capability and just being able to turn it up a few notches and get it done. We had lapses in every game and still closed out all three games. If we play at our top level from start to finish we are final four bound. I think a lot of teams are looking at us as the team they don't want to be in the same bracket with. Congratulations Illini you deserve it. It's a shame that this championship they won will get little press as the ncaa tourney bracket will be the main story they will be talking about. Another reason to finish it on Saturday.

No. Below the rim player, mediocre shooter, weak defender.

The NBA is a very specific and somewhat quirky brand of basketball, in which Domask's tremendous feel and timing in a crowd of bodies is pretty much irrelevant.

Which is to say, it's not always a question of not being good enough, it's a question of being good at the right things and Domask isn't.

He was awesome today.
The defense really doesn't matter, but he would simply have to really develop as a shooter.

I think he might be able to play in the d-league and definitely overseas unless he vastly improves that shot. However, I also played against Max Strus in high school(he was a jr)and didn't think he was anything special, watched him go to Lewis, then DePaul, and now he's signed a 60 million dollar contract so anything can happen with some of these guys.

marcus really only had 3 good halves of basketball. AJ had a lot more
Tominaga is the real outlier there. He got locked down by Illinois and put up a really empty 18 pts and was 2/9 from 3. Williams was the best player on Nebraska in the tournament.

Domask probably missed out because he was awful against OSU(just missing open layups) but he quietly put up 16/7/8 and 26/7/8(will need to be limit the turnovers from today though).

Really, Ty was great all tournament even if he's not putting up counting stats. I think he would have been deserving.

I think you could also make an argument for Battle or maybe Buie but he only played 1 game.
