Tomi is a little slow & unorthodox with the post moves, though he is shooting 61.2% from 2 this year. Agree it is area of emphasis for him. Sometimes I see him trying to squirm around guys instead of just using his body as a wall and go up into a shot.

It's gonna be a shame to see Mike Woodson go.
We should start a Go Fund Me to keep him there . .

I have absolutely despised Indiana basketball since I was aware of Big Ten hoops at the age of ~6-7. Five decades later, after an evening such as this, I'm neck deep in schadenfreude watching the crew at Inside The Hall have their belts and shoelaces confiscated.

Also, please recall that Crean's initial team went 1-17 in conference play and started walk-ons. His second team wasn't much better. The team the Illini atomized this evening was picked in preseason to win the entire conference or finish in the top 2. That puts what occurred tonight in perspective and we should all revel in the lamentations and wailing emanating from the Hoojin State.

That gym has seen 53-1/2 seasons and Illinois (Illinois!!! Can you imagine the gnashing of teeth??!! Robert Montgomery Knight spinning in his grave??!! Not Purdue. Not Kentucky. Not MSU. Not OSU. Not Michigan. Not Wisconsin. ILLINOIS.) just hung the highest point total EVER by an opponent inside it in regulation, and inflicted the second highest margin of victory on the hosts in its history in that building.

Just want to say the metamorphosis of Ben Humrichous' game from standing around ready to shoot a three into a guy who is moving and scoring aggressively from everywhere, hitting the boards hard, and diving for loose balls is a huge part of the potential for this Illini team to reach their goals and dreams. He has become a B1G warrior which is exactly what we need him to be. Not that he is Kofi, but he is being the best Ben he can be. I expect he may have had a long talk with BU...not at the Pizza Hut...but maybe over a delivered Domino's in Brad's office. (Deep bow of respect to Ben...keep it up)..

I think they were questioning why we would risk an injury to one of our key players when the game was essentially over.
Yeah, I thought the point was well deserved to be honest. We all know Brad has a tendency of keeping the starters in a little long. That being said, the way this team will let up off the pedal, I understand his hesitancy to pull to early.

Also, Indiana's remaining fans in the second half getting yoked that they were within 20 for a second... That was its own reward.
Honestly that made me jealous. Our fans check out when we're down 10, let alone 15+. And its the same for both students and older folks. We need to find a way to match that energy whether we're up or down -- the energy in the SFC has been pretty pathetic since pretty much the 00s.

Yep. There is no question Woodson is done. I don't think Indiana has ever had their fans boo their team and walk out at halftime. Ever. In the history of the program. You can move on from a bad loss, you can move on from a historically bad loss, you can move on from a historically bad loss to a rival, but you don't move on from your fans turning against you and the coach. The Chicago Bears fired a coach in the middle of the season for the first time in franchise history. I expect Indiana to follow the same suit. Woodson has no place there anymore, and with the talent they think they have, if they want to pretend they have a shot at the postseason, they fire him in the next 48 hours, hire an interim to close out the season and bag the hottest/biggest name coach on the market.

Trust me, I try my part. Circumstances have kept me from using my seats this year until the Ohio State game and my 76 year old mom does her best 😂

^It is true that when the Illini hit their 3's, they are awfully tough to beat. It's equally true of layups. If they ever have a game when they convert more than 80% of their layups and 5-footers, look out! (I should say look out even more!)
Agree! That’s that “boring” routine that makes good teams great👍
