I'll be there as well! I need some revenge from when I was at the Dec 2019 game. That's the game when Cowen hit a game tying 3 from the "Gary Williams Court" logo and then got a steal and was fouled with 2 seconds left where he iced it with a FT. The shuttle bus ride back to the parking lot with Terps fans was not fun.

It's tough to think we will lose this one since they don't have a coach, one of their assistants is suspended, and they just aren't very good in general. But this might be the definition of a trap game. An incredibly emotionally exhausting game against a top 5 team, then we play a bottom feeder on the road, followed by another huge matchup against MSU.

Still think we win by 15+, but no such thing as a free win in this league.

This encapsulates my general disdain for Terrapin fans, apart from a good friend. That team was a favorite to win the conference (and in fact ended up with a share of the title), was playing a young Illinois team at home in early December, and yet trailed for ~ 39:50 of 40:00, pulling it out only on a ridiculously long three in the waning seconds. And yet... their fans likely gave you a hard time on the bus, amirite?

Couch burners.

This is why, regardless of the weather (it's due to be in the low 20s Friday evening with wind chill of ~ 10), I walk from the arena to the parking lot whenever I go there regardless of their opponent. ;)

Do we get another chance to turn on the radio and sync BB and Deon with the FS1 broadcast?

Will always be nervous against the Terps. Win a few weeks ago doesnā€™t quite erase the second half collapses the last couple of years, but 2-0 this year would go a long way.

I also think we'll win rather easily. We now have even more weapons!

Regardless of which games we win/lose the rest of the way during the regular season, however, today's Purdue game was extremely uplifting! I'm encouraged about the future. And if you disagree, listen to Matt Painter's post-game. Tons of respect from a top-notch Big10 coach.

Also, Steve Lavin said later in the day on FOX that ours was a game of two potential Final Four teams.

Really hard not to like Painter

I still have a hard time getting over the fact that he was a Weber assistant for 5 years at SIU.
I also think Painter is a good coach and a class act, but not the best in the Big 10. There have been a few years I thought with the talent they had they were final four bound, yet tripped up some where along the way. Hasn't got over that hump yet.
