It was a loss to the #14 team when they were ranked #11. Even more relevant, the team that beat them was orange and blue and had the word "ILLINOIS" on their jerseys.
Unfortunately, in a way, Peacock games are respect. Fox, CBS, and NBC do a games draft where they pick what games they want. The biggest of games go to Fox and CBS, so Peacock fills in most of their lineup (outside of the 2 required appearances per team) with the popular teams that draw the most

Old guys don't think Peacock games count as being televised, despite likely being more accessible to most people than games on BTN (and also being literally televised on NBCSN in Illinois and the surrounding area).
The only game not "televised" is the 11/13 Sam Houston game. This is dumb and I hate BTN+, but i'll give him that one.
Gives them the exact thing they were missing: another body to add depth/eat minutes and a large human to rebound the ball

The Big Ten chose this. Using good basketball games to help NBC goose subscribership to Peacock (to mangle a bird metaphor) got the league more money in the TV deal.
