Roberson, Debose, Woods, Pate, Williams, another DB and Punter and I am thrilled with this class

I'm pretty thrilled with the class as is, adding Roberson and DeBose would completely exceed expectations for me, everything else after those 2 and a punter is cherry on the top for me, personally. Really impressed so far.

If that is Holgerson on the left it looks like maybe he was out a bit late the night before. Compare that to any picture of Love with a recruit. We hit a home run with this man to be sure.

Haha

that is literally the most sober I have ever seen Holgerson. Must not have had a designated driver that night

Alex is a huge get. Great find by the staff as they were the first to offer him.

Not sure if we can sneak into the top 30, but we should definitely be a top 40 class this year. Amazing accomplishment for a group of coaches, who had about 10 months to put together this class.

It feels like bizarro world that I'm so excited for the way football is trending and the opposite for basketball.

Regardless, I'm super pumped that one sport is moving in the right direction again!

Love Lovie!

Also a very good shot of being the second best B1G West class, which means a ton in the grand scheme of things.

It'd be nice symbolically, but it appears 2-5 in the division will be split by hairs, so the talent difference wouldn't be anything noteworthy over those behind us. (Not to discount anything, just emphasizing that 2 or 5 should not be used to boost or knock our class in any major manner without noting the difference in points)

It is really close, and Iowa's recruiting class is hurt by low numbers. I prefer to use Rivals recruiting rankings as it seems to be the one with the lowest impact on number of commitments.

#31 - Nebraska
#41 - Illinois
#43 - Wisconsin
#45 - Rutgers
#47 - Minnesota
#48 - Northwestern
#54 - Iowa
#56 - Indiana
#68 - Purdue

This can be said about every team, but a re-ranking of Nate Hobbs (as Scout did) and Alex Palczewski (rating hasn't changed since beginning of the year, I believe) would likely put Illinois closer to the mid-30's (around Missouri, Oregon, and Texas).
