Scheduled for 1:30 tomorrow. Alton is terrible. Most likely running clock entire 2nd half, so game could easily end by 3:30. He could easily make the game.

They likely have post-game stuff and then need to cool down. It really doesn't seem reasonable to push a trip (or at least make kick-off). If he ends up coming for part of the game then that would be showing some clear interest.

Hopefully he makes it!

For the recruits looking to play early for NFL coaches this is your chance to step right in. Need impact talent all around the field. Competitive team just too many mistakes and unforced errors, trying to play at a speed they are not used to.

He has very good speed he was the top choice for me of the linebacker list of uncommitted. Liked him a great deal, I was concerned about the poor showing with the recruits at the game yesterday. I hope this is not an omen as he was considered a near lock. I wrote on another site yesterday saying I hoped to recruits would see this as an opportunity or a challenge.

He made a decision for reasons other than strictly football. The results this year won't have a great bearing on recruits. They understand this is a rebuild. People make too much of each game result.

At some point, results will be what matters...not for a staff with 2 games under their belt.

Great point. Hate to lose out on a recruit we wanted, but losing recruits to Yale and Navy means that we are targeting athletes with good characters.

Exactly - One of Zookers best vist weekends was for the PSU pounding he took. Game results mean very little if anything.

Thanks MK. After writing a couple places seem to be of the same opinion. So like I said hoping they will accept the challenge.

Out of curiosity, has a single one of our recruits with multiple Power Five offers not had Thad Ward as their lead recruiter?

All of the kids out of St. Louis and South Florida did. Smalling?

We need two more Thad Ward's on this staff going forward.
