I have always thought February 1st should be a national holiday. It's honestly one of my favorite days of the year.

What more were we supposed to do? Ricky Smalling went to visit him and he still didn't commit. Maybe we should have had our answer back then when he didn't commit. Off course this is assuming he goes elswhere though.

Not sure there's anything we should've done differently, it just didn't happen for us.

Of course, you can't point out that we seemed to be the clear leader for Roberson at one moment in time without also acknowledging that Carmoni Green was clearly wavering during that same period.

In recruiting, one out of two is seldom bad.

Pate and Roberson the two announcing today. I am HOPING (no insider) that this pertains to Roberson, seeing as Ricky and Kendall are more likely to have interacted with RR at length than Pate due to the time the staff has spent recruiting the former 3 rather than Pate. Fingers crossed!

I saw that too. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Hopefully Pate will give us some good news today. He just visited us and decommitted from Appalachian State so I'm not even sure who else would be in the picture for him? We got another CB last night for him:

Another note: Find it interesting that Indiana offered Epstein a few weeks ago.

I like this theory although I'd feel better if it came from Smalling. Roberson and Smalling appear to be pretty good friends.

In all honesty it could be a number of players. We're sitting at 20 commits right now and are waiting on decisions for a number of players.

Kendall and Ricky seem to be pretty close as well, which is why I just figured those three could be chatting, but this is just speculation and optimism from my end. RR would be a big time land for us.

We will win and if you want to know why then read the front page of the sports section of the St Louis Post. Headline: St louis preps starting to feel the Lovie.

When the #5 player in Missouri tweets "unless you are on the Illinois coaching staff, please don't come by my high school to see me", you are doing something right.

When the head coach at Lutheran North, which has put a number of players in the NFL, says "Its not just the assistants, Lovie has been in our building a number of times", you are doing something right.

While this is a bit of a down year in the St Louis area quantitatively, the next 2 years are not.
