Not surprised by Reggie's choice. The thing that rubs me the wrong way was in one of his quotes one of the WV coaches said he was always their guy. Lol oh really! You didn't offer him until you lost your top WR commit. Oh well, good luck to him.

I'm happy that Pate committed. He has good size although isn't that explosive. It will be interesting to see if he stays at DE.

Welcome Mr. Pate. Can't wait to see you tearing up B1G backs.

Of the group of late offers, Pate seems to be the highest ranked.

I think he is a DT all the way, I think the same for Woods if we land him. Still great pick up in my book.

So, let's be honest here: Ward and Hayes-Stoker are about as evenly matched of a pair of "designated recruiters" as Simon and Garfunkel.

It'll be interesting to see if/how AHS develops as a recruiter. Poor first cycle, but I'm not going to dismiss him yet. Think he could turn out to be solid, seems like a good dude.

I've been fairly surprised by Ligashesky who seems to be a fairly decent recruiter.

We will win and if you want to know why then read the front page of the sports section of the St Louis Post. Headline: St louis preps starting to feel the Lovie.

When the #5 player in Missouri tweets "unless you are on the Illinois coaching staff, please don't come by my high school to see me", you are doing something right.

When the head coach at Lutheran North, which has put a number of players in the NFL, says "Its not just the assistants, Lovie has been in our building a number of times", you are doing something right.

While this is a bit of a down year in the St Louis area quantitatively, the next 2 years are not.

Haha! That's excellent!

And congratulations to Mr. Pate and the entire Pate family and the Lovie Machine!

Exactly. Hopefully this strong relationship with Lovie and STL will bear fruit next year. Really strong year out of STL (and poor timing for Mizzou to have a bad season).
