If George Mikan was in today's NBA he'd have dunked on Shaq AND Rennie, pin Lebron's dunk attempt to the backboard, and have more triple doubles than Westbrook.
I'm to the point where i almost feel like Billingsley and his Dad might be trolling us. Maybe im just to used to getting nut-punched on the basketball side of things. Maybe he really does love Illinois, but if so why has he not committed?
Honestly, I think this has to do with lovie and his dad. Lovie says, in it so many words, go through the process. His dad wants him to go through the process even though he still expects his son in to choose I’llinois. When we are putting the pressure on, you will know because he will start to say it (as other recruits have done the same)

This is why we've had very few de-commits in the past couple of years. Braedon Daniels is the only true de-commit. Antwan Collier was offered by the previous staff and committed without ever stepping foot on campus. He ended up wanting to stay closer to home (UCF).
As far as Jahleel goes, if you go back to some articles from February he didn't even sound like he wanted to visit Illinois. Illinois has made up a lot of ground in his recruitment but he's going to continue to take visits. He may not end up here but we are clearly the leader right now.

I love recruits like this. He would benefit from a redshirt (and given our stacked defensive line, he likely will if he comes here) but he is built to play from day one.

Yeah agreed and if u saw the jacket and the gloves the kid is already recruiting for us we have to get these other guys on board and he’ll commit when he is ready (soon) but if u look on Twitter the fan are doing a pretty good job of trying to show love to all the kids pretty cool to see
