Once the LOI all come in can someone put this class in perspective for someone like me who does not understand how you rate a good class v an average class v not such a good class ON PAPER. I FEEL we have a really good class coming in but don't know how to judge that.

On the recruiting sites and "on paper" this class won't look great. That is simply because it is a small class and we will finally be close to top heavy with the junior class. If you look at the average ranking of our recruits though we are in the top half of the B10. Still have to see what Shammond does. Could go from good to great with just one commitment.

Just watched Beason sign live in a Twitter-cast. 👍

Randolph announces at 11 CST, I believe.

So happy we kept Coleman. I didn't know where else we'd get a WDE.

Need another High School OL to sign in February. Hopefully we can get Moore in.

If we land Randolph then I hope that means we're flipping Pearl to the other side of the ball. Lots of depth at SDE if Randolph is on the roster.

It all depends on your definition of good. Keep in mind that the rating service's total scores are a combination of quality and quantity. A school with a lot of high 3* commits can end up higher in the rankings than a school with only five quality 4 star commits and no one else. In this cycle, we won't be ranked very high because of our lack of quantity. However, the avg score of our recruits has the potential to be higher than it's been in a number of years. Even so, the rank at the end of the day today still won't reflect how we eventually will be viewed. Our final ranking will be higher after the next re-rank because Coleman should be ranked much higher.
